Remote-controlled lawnmowers are efficient tools for maintaining yards and orchards. Proper daily maintenance can significantly extend their lifespan and prevent malfunctions from affecting operations. Whether gasoline or electric, core maintenance revolves around three main dimensions: the power system, the operating components, and storage protection. Operation is simple and easy to learn.

Power system maintenance is crucial. For gasoline models, the first oil change is needed after 5 hours of operation, followed by changes every 30-50 hours. Draining the oil while the engine is warm ensures a more thorough drain. The oil level should be kept between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick. Check and clean the air filter weekly. For paper filters, gently pat away dust. For sponge filters, wash, dry, and then soak in a small amount of engine oil before installation; in dusty environments, shorten the interval. Clean spark plugs every six months to remove carbon deposits and replace them annually to ensure smooth ignition.

Operating components require regular inspection. Clean residual weeds from the blades after use and sharpen them every 10 days to maintain sharpness. When sharpening, ensure evenness on both sides to avoid excessive vibration during operation. Lubricate bearings with grease every 2-3 months, and change the transmission fluid annually to prevent wear on transmission components. Clean the machine body and chassis promptly after each use to prevent rust.

Before long-term storage, drain the fuel tank of gasoline-powered models and fully charge electric models before storage. Place the machine in a dry, well-ventilated area, apply lubricant to the blades to prevent rust, and keep it away from fire and corrosive substances. Performing these basic maintenance procedures will ensure your remote-controlled lawnmower maintains stable performance and reduces maintenance costs.
